Our client is a leading solutions provider in the oil and gas industry, the company specializes in delivering high-quality products and services tailored to the exploration and production sector. We are seeking a person skilled and experienced in corporate governance and sustainability to join their dynamic organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the corporate compliance, risk management, sustainability and management of internal controls of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Risk Management

  • Oversee the identification, analysis, and evaluation of potential risks to the company's risk profile, encompassing financial, operational, cybersecurity, environmental, and social, governance. 
  • Monitor and assess emerging risks, including global, national, and industry trends, regulatory changes, and sustainability. 
  • Coordinate comprehensive data collection and analyses to support informed risk management decisions.
  • Implement and monitor risk mitigation plans and control processes to manage identified risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement risk alerts and indicators. 
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices. 

Business Continuity Management (BCM)

  1. Evaluate BCM strategies including Emergency Response Plan, Crisis Management Plan, IT Disaster Recovery Plan, and Business Continuity Plans. 
  2. Coordinate regular testing and simulation exercises to ensure the effectiveness of business continuity plans.
  3. Facilitate the preparation of group-wide reporting and monitoring for risk management and BCM to the Management Compliance & Risk Committee and Board Risk Committee.
  4. Develop structured risk management and BCM training and awareness programs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of years of experience in risk management and BCM.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify potential risks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
