Description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Perform daily incoming sampling inspections according to specifications and standards.
  • Ensure proper handling and part protection before transferring to store or further processes (e.g., Hydrotest, RT, PT, MT).
  • Support day-to-day activities such as WIP scanning, hold part segregation, and defect confirmation with engineers.
  • Conduct basic rework activities for minor defects.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and comply with Emerson's safety and housekeeping practices.
  • Utilize measuring and testing equipment effectively.
  • Participate in cost-saving initiatives, SGIA projects, and provide sorting/investigation support during quality issues.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • A Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and quality standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Hands-on experience with quality control in a valve or process equipment manufacturing setting.
  • Skilled in using precision measuring instruments and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Familiarity with internal calibration systems and customer-specific requirements.
