Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure best value and quality.
  • Manage inventory levels, supplier performance, and contract compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local and Chinese suppliers (Mandarin communication required).
  • Collaborate closely with management and operations teams to forecast and plan purchasing needs.
  • Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving or quality improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare reports, purchase analyses, and recommendations for management review.
  • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and standards.

Job Requirements:

  • 3–5 years proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing.
  • Demonstrated negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English - essential for Chinese partner communication.
  • Strong attention to detail, cost control, and supplier management.
  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).

About the Role

Looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead end-to-end procurement activities - from sourcing and supplier management to cost optimization and strategic purchasing. This is a key leadership role that directly supports our business growth and operational excellence.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM5, RM7,000.00 per month
