General Manager, Design Strategy

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To provide the support and commitment for the overall implementation of the property development system in the organization.
  • To assist the GCEO/ HOD of DSP in the overall management and operations of the company's existing and future development projects.
  • To analyse the business environment, competition and products in the market.
  • To lead the project in design and planning and successful completion of projects.
  • To ensure that all staffs are operating effectively and efficiently.
  • To maintain close and effective liaison with external parties involved in property development and construction sectors. These include local authorities, federal government departments, project consultants, etc.
  • To work with internal department on acquisition of new land banks.
  • Any other duty and responsibility which the company may assign from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Civil Engineering / Urban Town Planning / Architectural or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years working experience in senior management position in construction / property industry.
  • Well-versed in property development process.
  • Has strong management and good decision-making skills.
  • Able to lead and manage team to achieve company's goal.
  • Good communication and networking skills.
  • Ability to manage the resources of the company.
