JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Assist in demand forecasting and supply planning.
  • Monitor market trends and risks to ensure supply chain stability.
  • Support procurement activities including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure procurement complies with company policies and regulations.
  • Assist in logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Optimize transportation routes and methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and distribution teams for smooth operations.
  • Negotiate contracts and rates with logistics providers.
  • Ensure logistics operations meet regulatory and industry standards.
  • Implement inventory control procedures and monitor stock levels.
  • Use inventory management systems to track and manage inventory.
  • Set and monitor supply chain performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Apply lean practices to reduce waste and improve processes.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams for continuous improvement.
  • Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier and operational risks.
  • Develop contingency plans and respond to supply chain disruptions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain.
  • Experience in medical device or electronics manufacturing is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, and warehousing.
  • Familiar with regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Skilled in data analysis and process improvement.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in both Malay and English.
