We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering end-to-end web solutions, building the front-end user interfaces, developing reliable back-end server-side logic, and integrating databases.

This role supports the development of digital tools and platforms that enhance plant biodiversity research, species identification, and conservation efforts. You will contribute to applications used by botanists, researchers, and conservation teams to better understand, protect, and manage plant species.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  2. Work with Django's front-end framework and its related components.
  3. Integrate front-end components with backend APIs.
  4. Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs.
  5. Build server-side logic using Python frameworks like Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
  6. Manage database schemas, queries, and transactions in NoSQL, i.e., MongoDB.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
  3. Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  4. Experience with at least one front-end framework (Django templates, Angular, React, etc.).
  5. Proficiency in at least one back-end programming language (Python, ,  Ruby, etc.).
  6. Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  7. Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
  8. Good communication and collaboration skills.
  9. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
