Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Guest Services Manager at The Millen, Penang, located in Georgetown. The Guest Services Manager will oversee the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and seamless customer service. Responsibilities include managing receptionist duties, supervising staff, addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining service quality standards. The role also involves fostering a welcoming environment and promoting a positive guest experience throughout the guest's stay.

Qualifications

  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
  • Proven expertise in providing exceptional customer service and achieving high customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills to engage professionally with guests and staff
  • Experience with managing receptionist duties, including reservations, check-ins, and check-outs
  • Ability to address guest concerns promptly and find solutions in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and other relevant technology
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership position within the hospitality industry is an advantage
  • Strong organizational skills and a guest-centric mindset
