About the Role

You'll report directly to the CTO and work closely with the CPO, PM, and other Technical Leaders to manage engineers and drive project delivery. You will oversee projects spanning API and web development, as well as database and data warehouse connector development. Your primary responsibility is the technical project management of a few engineering squad.

Job Responsibilities

Project Management and Delivery

• Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery within the engineering team.
• Plan, prioritize, and delegate tasks effectively.
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve blockers.
• Communicate consistently with the CTO and CPO to align project expectations and progress.
• Collaborate closely with the PM (your counterpart) and act as the technical voice in the product development process.
• Provide technical input during the product design phase.
• Lead the daily operations and technical execution of your engineering squads.

Hiring and Talent Development

• Foster a high-performance engineering culture.

Technical Leadership

• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical planning.
• Grow into leading technical specification and design for your team's projects.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including leadership or management roles.
• Strong project management capabilities, with experience delivering highly technical software projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong technical foundation; you don't need to be the best coder, but must be technically sound and credible.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a SaaS and/or enterprise B2B environment.
• Familiarity with our technology stack:
  • TypeScript, , Vercel

  • AWS, Kubernetes
  • PostgreSQL
• Broad knowledge and/or experience with:
  • Databases
  • Data warehouses
  • Data lakes
  • Blob storage systems
  • BI tools
  • ETL tools
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows.
