About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control professional to join our team at Pipeworks Sdn Bhd in Sungai Buloh, Selangor. As a Quality Control specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high standards and quality of our manufacturing processes and end products. This full-time position is integral to the success of our operations within the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop, implement and maintain effective quality control systems and procedures
  2. Conduct regular inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods to identify and address any quality issues
  3. Analyse quality data and generate detailed reports to track and improve performance
  4. Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality problems
  5. Recommend improvements to processes and procedures to ensure product quality.
  6. Implement corrective and preventive actions to continuously enhance quality standards
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant quality, health and safety regulations
  8. Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality assurance methodologies
  10. Liaise with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality control or assurance role within a manufacturing environment
  2. Relevant qualifications in Quality Assurance, Engineering or a related field would be an advantage
  3. Strong understanding of quality control principles, tools and techniques
  4. Proficient in data analysis and the use of quality management software
  5. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and critical thinking skills
  6. Knowledge of ISO9001:2015: failure analysis, corrective actions, and root cause analysis.
  7. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards
  8. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  10. Travel Requirement: Occasional travel to test laboratory, manufacturing facilities, or project sites as needed.
