Meet the Team:

As the IT Senior Storage and Backup Administrator, you will manage and maintain storage systems, storage networks, and hardware to ensure the smooth operation of a company's system. You will collaborate with other IT professionals to maintain data security, availability, and accessibility while supporting business continuity.

Where you come in:

  • You will manage storage systems, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage solutions.
  • You will oversee storage network infrastructure.
  • You will monitor/optimize system performance to ensure smooth operation.
  • You will plan, configure, and maintain storage hardware and software.
  • You will collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve system issues.
  • You will update and maintain documentation for storage systems and procedures.
  • You will perform routine maintenance and upgrades to maintain system security and reliability.
  • You will work with security teams to ensure data is secure and protected.
  • You will create and implement backup and disaster recovery plans.
  • You will manage and maintain enterprise storage solutions.

  • You have strong understanding of storage protocols, such as NFS, CIFS, and iSCSI.
  • You have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve storage issues efficiently.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • You will collaborative team player with strong customer service orientation.
  • You have experience in managing Enterprise Backup Solutions.
  • You have strong hands-on experience with technologies such as NetApp, Dell EMC, or similar.
  • Expertise in backup platforms like Veritas NetBackup, Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik, or similar.
  • You have experience in Storage Area Networks (SAN), storage replication, backup configurations and conducting DR exercises.
  • You are proficient in power cycling storage devices and upgrading SAN switches.
  • You have experience in cloud base storage.
  • You are familiar with ITIL practices and change management processes.
  • You have excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience.
