Overview

We are seeking an Operations Specialist ( Store Operations) to lead both our training programs and day-to-day store operations across our retail network. This is a dynamic role in the toy and collectibles industry, combining operational excellence, people development, and customer experience management.

You will ensure that stores run smoothly on a daily basis while building effective training structures to empower our teams, improve performance, and enhance the overall brand experience for customers.


Key Responsibilities

1. Training Operations

  • Oversee the planning and execution of staff training programs (onboarding, product knowledge, customer service, and sales skills).
  • Ensure training content is aligned with brand standards and company objectives.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

2. Store Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations across stores to ensure smooth functioning, compliance, and excellence in customer experience.
  • Implement SOPs and ensure consistent execution across all outlets.
  • Resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively.

3. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and support store managers, supervisors, and training coordinators.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and performance reviews to improve individual and team capabilities.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and growth-focused work culture.

4. Customer Experience & Brand Standards

  • Ensure all stores deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience aligned with the brand.
  • Collect customer and staff feedback to continuously enhance operations.

5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor and analyze store and training KPIs (sales, service quality, staff performance, training outcomes).
  • Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Retail Management, HR, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in retail operations and/or training management, ideally in toys, lifestyle, fashion, or entertainment industries.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate training programs.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin will be considered an advantage.
