About the role

Macor Shipping Sdn Bhd, a leading provider of dry bulk shipping and now seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping & Trading Junior Executive to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring professional to kick-start their career in the exciting world of shipping and trading.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the coordination and management of shipping operations, including the planning and execution of cargo movements
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of shipments
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipping activities
  • Support the trading team in market research, data analysis, and the development of business strategies
  • Participate in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other business documents
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and the implementation of new technologies

What we're looking for

  • We really look for the leadership candidate with ownership & ambitious mind
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration
  • We prefer 1-2 years of experience in a shipping, logistics, or trading environment, preferably in a junior or entry-level position
  • Fresh graduate 'Maritime University' can apply
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
  • Familiarity with shipping and logistics terminology, processes, and regulations
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
