Job Summary:

The
Executive, Accounting & Tax
supports the organization's tax compliance and reporting functions by preparing tax returns, estimates, and related documentation for both direct and indirect taxes. The role also assists in transfer pricing, tax planning, and implementing new tax compliances such as e-invoicing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Job Description:

Tax Compliance & Reporting

  • Assist in the preparation of assignments and tasks related to the
    Income Tax Act
    ,
    Indirect Taxes
    , and
    Transfer Pricing
    .
  • Prepare
    tax returns and tax estimates
    for review and approval by management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure timely submission of
    tax set-off, refund, and payment
    processes.
  • Prepare
    indirect tax and withholding tax returns
    accurately and within stipulated timelines.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of income, expenses, and tax-related documentation.

Tax Documentation & Liaison

  • Support the preparation and compilation of
    accurate documentation and information
    requested by local tax authorities.
  • Liaise with clients to respond to
    income tax inquiries or clarifications
    , ensuring professional and timely communication.
  • Stay updated on
    changes in tax legislation
    and advise finance and related teams on their implications.

Transfer Pricing & Strategy Support

  • Assist in the preparation of
    transfer pricing documentation
    , including benchmarking studies and updates.
  • Support the tax team in proposing and implementing various
    tax strategies and compliance initiatives
    , including
    e-invoicing
    and other regulatory changes.

Process Improvement & Team Collaboration

  • Contribute to improving tax processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the tax team to ensure consistency and accuracy in all tax-related deliverables.
  • Undertake any additional responsibilities or assignments as directed by immediate supervisors or management.
