Schedule: Available for OT and/or weekend work if needed

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, implement, set up new aldon and test environments together with vendors based on project needs and company methodology.
  2. Collaborate with vendors, developers, and QA to ensure environment readiness and security compliance.
  3. Perform environment provisioning, configuration, patching, and maintenance.
  4. Resolve environment and data issues during testing cycles (SIT/UAT).
  5. Manage tester access and ensure environment availability.
  6. Extract, mask, and provision test data using tools (e.g., IBM Optim).
  7. Support the IBM Optim upgrade by working with vendors to meet the timeline.

Requirements:

  • Strong AS/400 / IBM iSeries Knowledge
    – Hands-on experience in system administration, CL scripting, job management, backups, and PTF handling.
  • Aldon Change Management Expertise
    – Proficient in managing code promotions, version control, workflows, and troubleshooting within Aldon (LMi).
  • Environment Provisioning & Maintenance
    – Skilled in setting up, configuring, and maintaining iSeries test environments for SIT/UAT.
  • Test Data Management
    (Preferred IBM Infosphere Optim tool) – Experienced in extracting, masking, and refreshing test data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection standards.
  • Collaboration & Issue Resolution
    – Effective communicator in cross-functional teams, resolving environment issues quickly during test cycles.
