Job Overview:

As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that copper foil products meet stringent quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. You'll conduct inspections, perform tests, and support continuous improvement efforts to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Inspect raw materials, in-process foil, and finished rolls for defects, thickness, surface roughness, and adhesion.
  • Operate and calibrate testing equipment such as micrometers, tensile testers, and surface profilometers.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records for traceability and audits.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
  • Assist in SPC (Statistical Process Control) monitoring and data analysis to detect trends or deviations.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards are understood and followed.
  • Participate in internal audits and support compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or customer-specific standards.
  • Report non-conformances and assist in containment and disposition of defective materials.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Technology, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in metal foil, electroplating, or precision manufacturing is an advantage.
  • Proficient in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Familiar with SPC, ISO standards, and quality documentation.
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Able to work in cleanroom environments and follow EHS protocols.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to speak Korean fluently is an added advantage.
