About the role

ALGREN CONSTRUCTION is seeking an experienced Technician & Operations Assistant to join our growing team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to ensure the smooth operation of our construction equipment and infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

  1. Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair a variety of construction equipment and machinery
  2. Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections to proactively identify and address issues
  3. Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
  4. Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely completion of tasks
  5. Provide training and guidance to junior team members
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant technical qualification or trade certification
  2. Minimum 1 year experience as a Technician in the construction industry
  3. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve issues
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
