Job Summary:

The education Consultant (China Market) is responsible for promoting overseas study opportunities—especially in Malaysia—to students and parents from China. This role combines education counselling and sales, focusing on meeting recruitment targets while delivering professional advice and high-quality service to Chinese students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote Malaysian and international university programs to students and parents from China through one-on-one consultations.

Provide guidance on course selection, university applications, visa processes, and accommodation arrangements.

Achieve monthly and annual student recruitment targets.

Build and maintain strong partnerships with Chinese agents, schools, and education platforms.

Communicate effectively with students and parents in Mandarin to ensure clarity and trust throughout the counselling process.

Represent the company and partner universities at both online and offline education fairs, webinars, and marketing events.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create China-focused promotional materials and manage campaigns on WeChat, Xiaohongshu, and Douyin.

Stay up to date with trends in Chinese outbound education, visa policies, and Malaysian higher education developments.

Maintain accurate student documentation and follow up on applications in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or above in any field.

Fluency in Mandarin and English is required .

Previous experience in study abroad consulting, education sales, or counselling preferred, especially within the China market.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Goal-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to meet recruitment targets.

Able to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.

Training & Probation:

A comprehensive training session will be provided upon joining to ensure understanding of company procedures, student counselling methods, and product knowledge.

A 3-month probation period will be conducted to evaluate performance, adaptability, and sales results.
