Our client is seeking a passionate Data Centre Shift Lead to oversee the day-to-dayoperations of a data center during their assigned shift, ensuring the continuous and optimal performance, security, and maintenance of critical facilities.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage and supervise shift schedules, support operations, and team performance
  • Train new members and oversee task execution by shift engineers
  • Monitor data center environmental conditions, BMS, HVAC, UPS, and other critical infrastructure to maintain uptime and meet customer SLAs
  • Perform alert monitoring, first-level troubleshooting, and escalate issues as per SOPs
  • Handle customer queries, calls, and emails; manage conflicts professionally
  • Maintain daily logs, shift handovers, and incident reports via the ticketing system
  • Prepare reports (monthly, audit, SOPs, MOPs, EOPs) and support internal/external audits
  • Ensure compliance with data center policies, house rules, and emergency operations procedures
  • Track and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Execute additional duties or projects assigned by the Head of Department

Requirements

  • 2 years relevant experience in data center operations
  • Diploma/ Degree in electronic/mechanical engineering or related field
  • Possess knowledge of BMS, HVAC/CRAC, Fire System & UPS
  • Fast learning ability, willing to pick up new skills and technologies
  • Self-driven, Positive attitude and team player
  • Able to support a 24/7 environment
