About the role

Redbricks Construction (M) Sdn. Bhd., an established construction firm, is seeking a talented and driven Project Executive to join our team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As a Project Executive, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, contributing to the company's growth and expansion within the industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Collaborating with project managers to develop and execute detailed project plans
  2. Coordinating and overseeing various construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  3. Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to effectively communicate project progress and address any issues that may arise
  4. Monitoring and reporting on project performance, identifying and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and optimise efficiency
  5. Providing support in the preparation of project documents, such as progress reports, project schedules, and cost estimates
  6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, legal, and regulatory requirements
  7. Collaborating with the wider project team to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar project executive or project management role within the construction industry
  2. Proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively
  5. Proficient in the use of project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
  6. Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  7. Certification in Project Management, such as PMP or PRINCE2, would be an advantage
