Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

1) Project Management Lead:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of telecom and data centre service implementation projects (e.g., DIA, P2P, Dark Fiber, Wireless Access Point, Colocation).
  • Collaborate with internal departments (engineering, provisioning, NOC, operations) and external partners/vendors to ensure timely project completion.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and quality to ensure consistent service delivery aligned with contractual and Ready for Service (RFS) commitments.
  • Coordinate and supervise field activities including site surveys, installation, testing, commissioning, and cutover operations.
  • Ensure proper documentation, handover, and support readiness upon project closure.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams to manage expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with customers and internal teams to coordinate installation schedules, resolve service delivery issues, and provide updates.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, providing clear communication and escalation when needed.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and help optimize delivery processes of project deployment.

2) Field Work and Installation

  • Support fieldwork activities as required, including work within server rooms, data centres, and rooftop sites.
  • Assist with the installation, testing, commissioning, and provisioning of telecom circuits and network equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management or service delivery within the telecommunications industry or data centre, including field deployment and installation oversight.
  • Solid understanding of telecom infrastructure, including fiber optics, microwave, fixed wireless, and copper technologies, as well as related equipment installation and testing procedures.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to field sites as required.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service abilities.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary to meet project deadlines.
  • Flexibility to travel for meetings with clients, contractors, or off-site personnel as project needs arise.
