Reinsurance Broking Executive

Labuan Reinsurance Broking Company | Based in Labuan

On behalf of our client, a leading Labuan-based reinsurance broking company, we are seeking a professional and motivated individual to join their team as a Reinsurance Broking Executive. The successful candidate will support the broking team in managing client portfolios, placing reinsurance business, and ensuring smooth operational and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and review all necessary documentation, including contracts, slips, endorsements, and invoices.

· Ensure all documentation and processes comply with local regulations and "contract certainty" guidelines, providing clarity to all parties.

· Manage data and update internal broker systems with placement activities, claims information, and financial records.

· Coordinate with internal departments and reinsurers to ensure prompt billing, timely documentation issuance, and efficient claims processing and recovery.

Requirements:

· Degree in a relevant discipline.

· Minimum 2–3 years of experience in reinsurance broking or related insurance/reinsurance operations.

· Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Knowledge of reinsurance products, treaty structures, and industry practices.

· Familiarity with Labuan FSA guidelines is an added advantage.

· Proficient in computer applications and data management.

· Meticulous, proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

· High integrity, professional conduct, and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
