Job Title: Oracle EBS Engineer

Location: Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur

Role Overview

The Oracle EBS Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and enhancements for enterprise Oracle applications and databases. You will ensure system stability, optimize data workflows, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 application and database support for Oracle-based systems, ensuring timely incident resolution and high system availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving Oracle databases, PL/SQL code, and backend logic.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages.
  • Work closely with technical and functional teams to analyze incidents, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
  • Support integration and data migration activities across enterprise applications.
  • Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning, including optimization of queries, stored procedures, and scheduled jobs.
  • Assist in change requests, patching, and system enhancement activities.
  • Maintain clear documentation for support processes, configurations, and knowledge articles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle application or database support.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL development, debugging, and optimization.
  • Good understanding of Oracle database architecture, schema design, and performance tuning.
  • Experience supporting or integrating Java-based applications with Oracle databases.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, or CM.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, BI Publisher, or customization tools.
  • Experience with Oracle WebLogic, IAM, SSO, or related middleware.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes or structured application support methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of Java frameworks (Spring Boot, JSP, Servlets) for issue tracing.
  • Exposure to Oracle JDeveloper for EBS extensions and customizations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM9, RM12,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Oracle WebLogic, IAM, or SSO integration : 3 years (Preferred)
  • Oracle EBS: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Oracle database architecture, schema design: 3 years (Preferred)
  • performance tuning: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, or BI Publisher : 3 years (Preferred)
