About the role

We are seeking a talented Accounts Associate to join our team at ADRIANYEO TAX SDN BHD' in Kelana Jaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounting processes for our growing firm.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and processing a wide range of financial transactions including invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
  • Maintaining and updating the general ledger, cash book, and other accounting records to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and other management reports
  • Providing support to the accounting team and collaborating with other departments as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
  • Continually looking for ways to improve accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accountancy/Commerce /Finance
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably within a professional services firm or small practice
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures, as well as familiarity with relevant tax regulations and reporting requirements
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other relevant technologies
  • Excellent attention to detail, numeracy, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and organised approach to task management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
