Job Scope/Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the showroom, service centre/workshop and Body & Paint division.
  • Manage the overall company operations efficiently and effectively for maximization of productivity and profitability.
  • Ensure that the Company meets all our customers' needs in accordance with the Sales and After Sales targets.
  • Representative at meetings and functions. This role will be a spokesperson for the Company.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales target, customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • To identify, develop and direct the implementation of business strategy and annual business plan in line with Company's objective, mission and vision.
  • Ensure full compliance with Proton Edar's operational guidelines, sales standards and brand expectations.
  • Ensure full compliance with Proton Edar's dealership policies, audits and SSI & CSI standards.
  • Lead and develop the management team to enhance service quality, operational efficiency and staff discipline.
  • Oversee company budgeting, sales performance and monthly P&L reviews across all divisions (Sales, Aftersales and Body & Paint).
  • Review, monitor and analyse the activities, costs and operations of Subordinate Managers and consolidate these analysis for submission to the Top Management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Proton HQ, customers, vendors and key partners.
  • Ensure effective stock management and inventory control for vehicles and spare parts.
  • To undertake any other ad hoc duty/task/project assigned by the Top Management.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferably 8-10 years of experience in the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven experience in managing dealership operations (preferably Proton or other major automotive brands).
  • Strong analytical, organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High level of integrity, accountability and customer focus.
