Job Title: Facility Manager (Building Maintenance)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Facility Manager (Building Maintenance) to oversee all building maintenance operations, ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and fully functional. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and managing maintenance schedules, supervising maintenance teams, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations. Also, we are looking for candidate who is available to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and oversee routine and preventive maintenance programs for building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and structural components.
- Manage and supervise a team of technicians, cleaners, and external contractors to ensure efficient execution of maintenance tasks.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues with minimal disruption.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify issues, hazards, and opportunities for improvement within the facility.
- Monitor and manage facility budgets, maintenance costs, and procurement of necessary equipment, tools, and materials.
- Ensure the building complies with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain documentation related to building maintenance activities, service records, and vendor agreements.
- Coordinate building renovations, repair works, and upgrades as required.
- Liaise with tenants, staff, and internal departments to address facility-related concerns and provide timely solutions.
- Oversee waste management, energy usage, and sustainability practices where applicable.
- Prepare monthly facility reports for management review.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management, Building Surveyor, Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in facility or building maintenance management as a Manager.
- Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.).
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety standards, local building codes, and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: RM5, RM5,500.00 per month
