AP Offering Manager, Global Consulting Business Development
Are you an innovative and strategic thinker with a passion for driving collaboration and accelerating business growth? We're seeking a dynamic Offering Manager to lead the creation, packaging, and marketing of our global consulting offerings. In this pivotal role, you'll play a central part in shaping the strategy that supports our Global Consulting portfolio, helping the division scale and deliver consistent, repeatable offerings that accelerate the sales cycle.

As a key member of the team, you will work cross-functionally with regional Offering Managers, service engineering, delivery teams, services sales, and other internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Finance, Channels, and Legal. Your efforts will ensure the successful adoption and execution of SAS's consulting services, empowering our teams to drive value for clients and achieve business growth.
As an Offering Manager, Global Consulting Business Development, you will:
Portfolio Management
- Develop and manage a comprehensive portfolio of global consulting offerings aligned with market demands and company strategic goals.
- Continuously evaluate offering performance to ensure offerings remain competitive and relevant in an evolving market landscape.
- Identify gaps in the current portfolio and develop new global offerings with offering management peers to address emerging market opportunities and customer needs.
- Partner closely with global services engineering and offering management peers to define complementary service offerings for new software releases.
Field Support
- Guide engagement managers, sales teams, customer success, and channel partners to adopt standard offerings.
- Educate business development and sales teams to drive adoption and establish a feedback loop for packaged offerings.
Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning within SAS's consulting portfolio.
- Analyze client feedback and industry developments to inform portfolio strategy and guide key business decisions.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and their implications for consulting services, ensuring our offerings remain aligned with market needs.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, marketing, business development, and delivery teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of consulting offerings.
- Engage with key clients to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback into the development and refinement of our consulting offerings.
- Collaborate with external partners and industry experts to enhance the value and reach of our consulting services.
Financial Management
- Develop and manage budgets for global consulting offerings with peers, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Track financial performance and implement corrective actions to drive profitability and efficiency when necessary.
- Report on key financial metrics and provide actionable insights to senior management, highlighting performance, areas for improvement, and strategic opportunities.
Quality Assurance
- Work with peers, services engineering, and regional delivery leaders to develop and implement processes and best practices that ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services.
- Establish a formal feedback loop of offerings with regional delivery teams.
- Monitor client satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in consulting delivery or business development.
- BS Degree preferably in business, quantitative field, or related industry.
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a portfolio of consulting services.
- Exposure to packaging of services offerings and subscriptions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
