AS400 / Core Banking Developer (Multiple Modules)

We are looking for experienced AS400 / Core Banking Developers to join our growing technology team supporting major banking initiatives across multiple functional areas. If you have hands-on experience in RPG, AS400/iSeries, DB2, or Silverlake Core Banking systems, we would love to speak with you. This is a great opportunity for developers who enjoy solving complex banking challenges, working across different modules, and contributing to high-impact system enhancements and support.

What You Will Do

Depending on your strengths and experience, you will be involved in one or more areas such as Deposits, Loans, Customer Information (BWCIF), Payments, ATM, or L3 Production Support.

Your responsibilities may include:


• End-to-end system development: analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation


• Enhancing and supporting core banking applications on AS400/Silverlake


• Handling change requests, new features, and quarterly releases


• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, including L3 production support where required


• Working closely with business analysts, QA, infrastructure, and vendor teams


• Participating in DevOps and deployment automation (Aldon/Arcad)


• Writing and updating technical documentation, design specifications, and user guides


• Ensuring system performance, stability, and compliance with banking standards


• Collaborating in Agile or cross-functional teams to deliver banking upgrades and improvements

What We're Looking For

You don't need expertise in every module — if you have any solid AS400/Silverlake experience, you're encouraged to apply.

Required Skills


• Strong experience in RPG / RPGLE development


• Hands-on with AS400 / iSeries platform


• Familiarity with DB2 database, file handling, and queries


• Experience in core banking systems (Deposits, Loans, Customer/BWCIF, Payments, etc.)


• Good understanding of SDLC, testing, and change management


• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues Good to Have


• Experience with CL programming, COBOL, or job scheduling


• Knowledge of Silverlake modules (Deposits, Loans, BWCIF, ATM, NPL, Collateral)


• Exposure to Aldon / Arcad, MQ, SFTP, Control-M


• Background in L2/L3 production support


• Understanding of core banking concepts and financial workflows
