About the role

Legendary Confinement Center Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team at our family in Salak South, Kuala Lumpur. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our postpartum mother and newborn, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout their stay with us. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment

Duty and responsibilities:

  • Monitoring Health: Nurses monitor the health of postpartum mothers and newborns, including vital signs, symptoms of complications, and overall well-being.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: They assess the physical and emotional status of mothers and babies, identifying any signs of distress or complications.
  • Providing Care: Nurses provide hands-on care such as assisting with breastfeeding and pumping
  • Educating Patients: They educate new mothers on topics such as newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, postpartum recovery, and signs of potential health issues.
  • Supporting Families: Nurses offer emotional support and guidance to new mothers and their families, addressing concerns and providing reassurance during the postpartum period.
  • Collaborating with Healthcare Team: They work closely with pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for mothers and babies.
  • Maintaining Records: Nurses maintain accurate medical records, documenting assessments, interventions, and patient progress.
  • Emergency Response: They are trained to respond effectively to medical emergencies that may arise during postpartum period, providing immediate care and coordinating with other healthcare providers as needed.
  • Promoting Wellness: Nurses promote maternal and infant wellness through health promotion activities, such as encouraging proper nutrition, rest, and exercise.
  • Ensuring Safety: Nurses ensure a safe environment for mothers and babies, identifying and addressing any potential hazards or risks.

Job Qualification/Specification:

  • A registered nurse (Ladies) with active MALAYSIAN NURSING LICENSE.
  • Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided. Candidates with relevant experience will be at an advantage.
  • Good attitude and responsible, demonstrate good personality, good communication skills, and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive nursing knowledge and skills. Able to educate, guide and coach the mother and family members.
  • Passionate, dedicated, and willing to be on-call to assist clients or staff after duty hours.
  • Able to work on Night shift, Weekend and Public Holiday
  • Ability to converse effectively in English, Malay and Chinese (Added advantage)
  • Strong clinical skills, including the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with postpartum mother and their families
  • Flexibility and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2, RM4,000.00 per month
