About the role

As a Marketing Executive at Silver Maxlink Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's marketing and communications efforts in the Seberang Jaya, Penang region. This full-time position will see you contribute to the strategic planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that align with the company's overarching business objectives.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote the company's products and services
  2. Coordinating the creation of compelling marketing collateral, including digital content, social media posts, and print materials
  3. Coordinate with suppliers on joint marketing activities, promotional deals, and advertising support
  4. Analysing market trends and customer data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  5. Conduct market research to identify customer trends and preferences
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning
  7. Plan and assist in retail events such as store opening, roadshows and CSR activities
  8. Measuring and reporting on the performance of marketing initiatives to inform future strategies
  9. Track campaign performance and prepare evaluation reports
  10. Staying up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging marketing trends

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  2. 2-3 years of experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably in retail industry.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
  4. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems
  5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw insights
  6. Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  7. Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and best practices
