Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Engineer located in Penang. The Technical Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing various engineering projects. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing mechanical, electrical, and process systems, maintaining HVAC and cleanroom systems, and ensuring project efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The Technical Engineer will collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Process) systems
  • Experience with HVAC systems, including AC duct work, chilled water piping, and centralized AC systems
  • Knowledge in cleanroom interior work such as gypsum wall partitions, cleanroom panels, and flooring
  • Familiarity with process utility systems, including special gas piping, exhaust systems, and vacuum piping
  • Skills in electrical work, LV and ELV systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Relevant engineering degree or certification
  • Experience in a similar role is a plus
