Strategic Support & Leadership
Assist the GM in achieving the company's strategic goals and operational objectives.
- Lead and manage all plant activities to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
Operational Management
Oversee the performance and productivity of the plant, covering Production, Quality Assurance & Control, Maintenance, New Product/Project Development, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE).
- Ensure production targets are achieved in accordance with project timelines and quality standards.
- Coordinate and control cross-departmental initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Continuous Improvement & Technical Excellence
Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, equipment reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Establish and enhance technical methods, production processes, and operating procedures to ensure best practices.
- Promote innovation and modernization in production systems and workflow management.
People Management & Development
Supervise, coach, and guide department heads and production teams to improve technical competency and performance.
- Instill operational discipline and a culture of accountability and teamwork across all levels.
Planning & Coordination
Ensure production planning aligns with Sales & Marketing requirements and delivery schedules.
- Monitor and coordinate with the Purchasing department to maintain optimal raw material inventory levels.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Enforce strict adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Ensure the plant complies with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
Prepare periodic production and performance reports for management review.
- Identify issues, recommend solutions, and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
Other Responsibilities
Undertake any other duties assigned by the GM to enhance the overall plant performance and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in prestressed concrete or precast manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of concrete production, quality control systems, and plant maintenance.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Hands-on, analytical, and results-driven with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound understanding of HSE practices and compliance requirements.
