Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor portfolio performance and identify early risk indicators such as rising defaults.
  • Work with the risk team to manage and reduce potential credit risks.
  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements, including KYC and income verification.
  • Lead and guide the credit team, including analysts and underwriters.
  • Organize training sessions on credit assessment, fraud prevention, and compliance updates.
  • Promote accountability and high performance within the team.
  • Develop and maintain credit policies for retail auto loans, including new, used, and refinancing cases.
  • Ensure policies match the company's risk appetite, regulations, and business objectives.
  • Review and update credit frameworks regularly based on market changes.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's Degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM, ICAEW) is an advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of experience in credit evaluation, underwriting, or credit risk management, preferably in the automotive financing or consumer lending sector
  • Strong understanding of credit assessment, financial statement analysis, and loan structuring.
  • Familiar with regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., KYC, AML, credit exposure norms).
  • Sound knowledge of credit scoring systems and risk management frameworks.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM10, RM12,000.00 per month
