Outbound Payment Manager @ Global MNC

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and responsible for processing outbound pre-payments/distributions.
  • Oversee the full distribution cycle: data ingestion, reconciliation, validation, approval, and pre-payment execution.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and company policy requirements.
  • Monitor metrics and performance indicators to ensure timely and accurate distributions (deadlines, error rates, quality, cost).
  • Handle external audits and third-party reviews: collect relevant data, prepare reports, coordinate responses.
  • Act as a point of contact for external stakeholders (clients, partners), resolving queries or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Finance, Legal, Operations, IT, and others to ensure smooth workflows and systems integration.
  • Identify inefficiencies or risks in current processes; recommend and implement process improvements, system enhancements, or automation.
  • Prepare regular reporting to senior leadership: status, performance, variances, forecasts.
  • Ensure team training, development, and performance management.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Solid experience (5-8 years or as appropriate) in data oriented or payment distribution - Preferably in a complex MNC environment.
  • Strong process improvement experiences.
  • Strong analytical skills; able to work with large data sets, perform reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and manage exceptional items.
  • Good understanding of internal controls, audit processes, compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (both internal and external).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in financial systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) or similar, MS Excel (with advanced functions), and data/reporting tools.
