Job Purpose:

To ensure that all food products manufactured comply with company quality standards, regulatory requirements, and food safety guidelines.

The QA Executive plays a key role in monitoring production processes, implementing quality systems, and ensuring continuous improvement in product quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Control and Monitoring Conduct daily in-process and finished product inspections according to quality standards and specifications. Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, Halal, and Food Safety Management Systems. Perform sensory, physical, and chemical testing of raw materials and finished goods. Monitor critical control points (CCP) and verify control measures are effectively implemented.

  2. Documentation and Record Keeping Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation (inspection records, test reports, deviation reports, etc.). Ensure traceability of all production batches and maintain proper documentation for audits. Review and approve product labels, packaging, and artwork to ensure regulatory compliance.

  3. Non-Conformance & Corrective Action Investigate product complaints, non-conformances, and deviations from specifications. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and follow up on their effectiveness. Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.

  4. Audits and Compliance Assist in internal and external audits (customer, certification, and regulatory audits). Ensure all processes and documentation are audit-ready at all times. Support implementation and maintenance of Food Safety Management Systems.

  5. Continuous Improvement Participate in quality improvement projects and propose recommendations to enhance product consistency. Conduct quality awareness training for production staff. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality performance.

Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within a food manufacturing environment. Knowledge: Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, Halal, and relevant regulatory standards (e.g., MESTI, FSSC Familiar with laboratory testing and sampling procedures.

Skills: Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong communication and report-writing abilities. Able to work independently and in a cross-functional team. Computer literate (MS Office, QA database systems).
