We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Executive to manage the company's payment cycle activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, reconciling accounts, handling payment runs, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and tax regulations.

Requirements

  • Perform day-to-day payment functions, including preparing payment vouchers, issuing cheques, processing online banking transactions, and ensuring timely disbursements
  • Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
  • Match purchase orders, delivery orders, and invoices (3-way matching)
  • Maintain accurate records of all payable transactions and supplier accounts
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or disputes
  • Review and analyse creditor aging reports
  • Liaise with vendors and internal departments (transport, warehouse, etc.) to address issues
  • Assist in month-end closing activities including accruals and account reconciliations
  • Prepare payment vouchers and maintain proper filing of accounting documents
  • Perform ad hoc assignments and assist with other finance-related tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of SST & e-Invoicing.
  • Can start immediately
