About the role

Tanera Transport Sdn Bhd, a leading logistics company in Malaysia, is seeking a talented Junior AR Specialist - Chinese Speaker to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. As a key member of our Accounts Receivable department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely collection of payments and maintaining strong customer relationships.

What you'll be doing

  • Handle accounts receivable functions such as invoicing, credit control, and payment reconciliation
  • Liaise with customers to resolve billing inquiries and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts in our financial systems
  • Assist with the preparation of various accounts receivable reports and analyses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient order-to-cash processes
  • Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate strong communication skills

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit control, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
