Landscape Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Manager to oversee the maintenance, development, and enhancement of all landscaped areas within the property.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive landscape maintenance plan for the property.
• Lead and supervise the landscaping team, including foreign workers, in daily tasks such as watering, mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing.
• Assist in the design, planning, and implementation of new landscaping projects using knowledge of plants, soil, and irrigation systems.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of all landscaping tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and safely stored.
• Monitor the health of all plants, trees, and flowers, identifying any pests, diseases, or issues and taking timely corrective action.
• Recommend replacement plants, flowers, or additional care as required.
• Maintain accurate records of landscaping activities including schedules, planting logs, expenses, and equipment usage.
• Work with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Manager to develop and maintain an on-site herb, fruit, and vegetable garden using sustainable and organic practices.
• Manage the composting program to ensure proper collection and processing of organic waste.
• Stay updated on the latest landscaping trends, techniques, and best practices by attending workshops or training programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the recruitment and selection of landscaping employees using competency-based criteria.
• Monitor punctuality, grooming, and overall appearance of landscaping staff to ensure adherence to standards.
• Enhance staff performance through coaching, mentoring, and ongoing skills development.
• Assist in conducting mid-year and annual performance appraisals and support employees' professional career goals.
• Ensure all employees fully understand and comply with organizational rules and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire, hygiene, and security policies at all times.
• Foster a positive working environment by supporting employee welfare, safety, and continuous learning.
• Prepare weekly work schedules according to workload and operational priorities.

Pay: RM7, RM8,000.00 per month
