The Role

We're seeking a talented Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Sonepar South East Asia Sdn Bhd. In this full-time position based in Puchong, Selangor, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our marketing initiatives and driving the success of branch distribution business in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Campaign Execution

  1. Execute and implement traditional and digital marketing strategies across various channels, including digital, print, and events.
  2. Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns, including design, content creation, and social media assets.
  3. Coordinate Tradeworks media planning and programming, including Hootsuite social media scheduling for Sparky Plus and local branches.

Customer Insights & Segmentation

  1. Support the Customer Insight Manager in refining customer segmentation strategies and implementing customer-centric technology projects.
  2. Assist the Senior Marketer in developing strategies to increase engagement in the customer loyalty program (Sparky Plus), including general administrative tasks to improve program effectiveness.

Email & Content Marketing

  1. Develop and manage email marketing campaigns for the branch network, including creating EDMs and measuring engagement to drive improvements.

Marketing Materials & Collateral

  1. Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and digital content.
  2. Maintain and update marketing assets and web listings, ensuring consistency across all platforms and search engines.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 2 years of experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably within the B2B or industrial sector
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for various platforms
  • Proficient in using marketing tools and software, such as CRM systems, social media management platforms, and graphic design tools
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Passion for marketing and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of the company
