Our client is seeking an Audit Senior to join their team

What you'll be doing?
  • Lead and mentor: Guide and supervise audit assignments while training and coaching junior team members to foster their professional development.
  • Collaborate effectively: Work seamlessly with team members to perform audit assignments, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Document with precision: Prepare comprehensive working papers to document audit files and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness for review.
  • Plan and execute: Take responsibility for planning, executing, and documenting audit fieldwork, demonstrating your expertise and attention to detail.
  • Ensure compliance: Document the purpose, procedures, and conclusions for all audit procedures performed, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Demonstrate leadership: Utilize your leadership qualities, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities to drive team success and deliver exceptional results.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational background: Degree in Accountancy or a Professional Accounting Qualification, showcasing your commitment to the field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of working experience in auditing, though candidates with no prior experience are welcomed to apply if they demonstrate strong potential and eagerness to learn.
  • Technical proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to efficiently manage and analyze data.
  • Audit expertise: Sound knowledge of audit standards to ensure compliance and best practices in all assignments.
  • Personal qualities: Meticulous, resourceful, and independent, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Language skills: Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively communicate with clients and team members across diverse backgrounds.
  • Professional certifications: Holding or pursuing certifications such as ACCA, MICPA, CIMA, CPA, or ICAEW is advantageous but not mandatory.
