The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Job Description:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to recovery performance, loss, and damage
  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to track KPIs, cost trends, and initiative outcomes
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to identify root causes of losses and inefficiencies, providing actionable insights to PMO and Operations teams
  • Support recovery project leads with analytical input during initiative design, tracking, and performance evaluation
  • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and timeliness across internal reports and management dashboards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Product, etc.) to align data definitions and support strategic priorities
  • Develop and automate data pipelines or reporting processes to improve analytical efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within operations, logistics, or project management environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio)
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and automation is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Highly motivated, data-driven, and passionate about driving measurable cost and process improvements
