Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Possess SPM or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 1 year of prior experience in laboratory cleaning/ janitorial work/ housekeeping, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning protocols and use of cleaning equipment is preferred.
  • Physically fit and able to perform cleaning task efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning of office and laboratory areas.
  • Carry out laundry duties, including washing and ironing.
  • Monitor and track cleaning supplies and notify the officer-in-charge when restocking is needed.
  • Ensure rubbish bins are emptied daily and refuse areas are kept clean and sanitary.
  • Assist in cleaning and preparing vessels for media preparation when required.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the superior.
