onfinement Operations & Nursery Manager – Job Tasks1. Daily Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the confinement centre, ensuring smooth workflow across all departments.
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Monitor staff attendance, scheduling, and task assignments.
  • Handle guest check-ins, room readiness, and service coordination.

2. Nursery & Baby Care Oversight

  • Supervise nursery team and ensure proper newborn care protocols are followed.
  • Monitor feeding schedules, hygiene practices, and health observations for every baby.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping for baby feeding, diaper changes, sleep, and medical follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with nurses/lactation consultants regarding any baby health concerns.

3. Mother Care & Customer Service

  • Ensure mothers receive proper postpartum care, meals, and support services.
  • Handle customer requests, concerns, and feedback professionally.
  • Conduct daily rounds to check on mothers' comfort, recovery, and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate appointments such as lactation, massage, photo sessions, and internal service providers.

4. Staff Management & Training

  • Lead, train, and mentor confinement nannies, nursery staff, and support teams.
  • Ensure all staff follow SOPs, safety protocols, and service standards.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Organise training sessions or refresher courses when needed.

5. SOP & Quality Control

  • Develop, update, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for nursery, housekeeping, kitchen, and guest services.
  • Monitor compliance with health, safety, and centre regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits on baby rooms, nurseries, equipment, and hygiene practices.

6. Inventory & Supplies Management

  • Oversee stock levels of baby items, mother care items, cleaning supplies, and operational tools.
  • Ensure timely replenishment of milk, diapers, consumables, and emergency items.
  • Track equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs or replacements.

7. Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain daily reports (nursery logs, incident reports, staff roster, occupancy levels).
  • Prepare monthly performance summaries for management.
  • Manage documentation for new mothers, discharges, and special care cases.

8. Emergency Handling

  • Respond to emergencies related to mothers, babies, or the facility.
  • Ensure staff know emergency protocols and act promptly.
  • Liaise with hospitals, clinics, or external medical partners when required.

9. Customer Experience & Service Improvement

  • Ensure high standards of service delivery and guest satisfaction.
  • Implement improvements based on feedback and operational needs.
  • Support marketing efforts (tours, enquiries, guest briefings).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,200.00 per month
