Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, set up, and perform complex sheet metal fabrication processes, ensuring parts meet engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Operate, program, and maintain fabrication machinery such as press brake, shearing, punching, and laser cutting machines.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturability, tooling design, and process flow.
  • Conduct dimensional inspections and quality checks to ensure precision and compliance with standards.
  • Analyze fabrication issues and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality and reduce rework.
  • Maintain production documentation and ensure compliance with safety and 5S standards in the workshop.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or precision metal manufacturing.
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

  • Familiar with fabrication process control, machine setup, and troubleshooting.

  • Hands-on experience with CNC sheet metal machines is an added advantage.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills; safety-conscious and detail-oriented.

Salary Range: RM4000 - RM6000
