We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as
Manager, Credit Control
reporting to the Regional Credit Controller. This full-time and permanent position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Finance Operation and its' growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of receivables across multiple jurisdictions and business units.

  • Develop and implement credit policies, risk assessment frameworks, and collection strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize bad debts.

  • Manage and mentor a team of credit control professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance reviews to ensure operational excellence.

  • Engage with key internal stakeholders and high-value external clients to resolve complex billing disputes and negotiate payment arrangements.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, system enhancements, and process reengineering.

Key requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in credit control or receivables management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-country portfolios and navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and resolve high-stakes disputes.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities, fostering a collaborative and accountable work environment. Independent and self-motivated but also work with the team
  • Experience in the shared services and in handling companies in various jurisdictions is an advantage
  • Recognized Degree / Diploma in business preferable.
  • Experience in shared services environments and handling clients across various legal and regulatory jurisdictions is highly preferred.
