About the role

Simple Catering is seeking passionate Cooks to join our kitchen in Rawang, Selangor.

Join us in producing delicious school food for the students and teachers at Knewton International School Rawang.

As a full-time Cafeteria Cook, you will be based within the school, responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving nutritious meals for our students and staff, ensuring a delightful dining experience.

Working hours: 7am - 3pm , Monday - Friday

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare a variety of healthy and appetizing meals, following established recipes and standards
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed at all times
  • General kitchen duties (preparation, cooking, serving, cleaning)
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment in the cafeteria
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering and purchasing of necessary supplies
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors

What we're looking for

  • Although experience within F&B is preferred, we are open to those interested without any prior experience
  • Knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and food safety
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to commute to Knewton International School Rawang for work
  • Ability to work well in a kitchen team and communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Passion for creating delicious, wholesome meals for students and staff
