Financial Management
- Oversight of Financial Operations: Establish and manage all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with Malaysian financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Accurate Reporting: Prepare and present monthly financial statements and reports to the leadership team. This includes support in preparing ad-hoc reports.
- Budget Preparation and Monitoring: Develop and manage the annual budget in collaboration with the school principal and other function heads. Subsequently, monitoring expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints, and analyzing variance for monthly management reporting.
- Accounts Receivable Ageing: Regular review of the ageing report to ensure timely follow up on long overdue accounts and early detection of potential issues.
- Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the school's assets and ensure the integrity of financial records. This includes ensuring effective policies and procedures are in place and full compliance.
- Cash Flow: Manage cash flow, including forecasting and monitoring to maintain financial stability.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide the team, fostering a culture of customer-centric excellence and good governance.
- Teamwork: Developing strong relationships with cross-functional teams and head office teams.
- Any other tasks as required by the leadership team.
Administration
- Supervise day-to-day administrative operations within the office and the campus.
- Planning and coordinating administrative procedures and systems and devising ways to streamline processes.
- Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new materials.
- Organize and supervise other office activities.
- Manage all the outsourced services, including Security, Cleaning, Meals, Transport and any other projects/areas as relevant.
- Develop and manage procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services.
- Any other tasks as required by the leadership team.
Human Resources
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring of staff for the campus.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of the monthly payroll & statutory contributions for all employees.
- Assist in the maintenance of accurate payroll records and HR data.
- Ensure compliance to local labor laws & regulations
- Any other tasks as required by the leadership team.
