Key Responsibilities
Front Counter / Cashier Duties
- Operate the POS system efficiently and accurately.
- Handle cash, credit/debit transactions, and balance the cash drawer at shift end.
- Greet customers warmly and ensure fast, friendly service.
- Promote ongoing deals or add-on products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and surrounding space.
- Monitor stock levels for retail and food items, and report low inventory.
- Comply with all safety and hygiene regulations set by Caltex.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures (lights, tills, reports, security checks).
Client & Sales Administration Duties
- Record daily sales reports, stock movement, and cash flow.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports to the supervisor or management.
- Support marketing promotions and ensure accurate price tagging and displays.
- Maintain customer and supplier contact records.
- Assist with supplier orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Coordinate internal communications between outlets (e.g., stock transfer, backup staff).
- Ensure all documents (sales, expenses, overtime, attendance) are filed systematically.
- Handle administrative correspondence professionally (email, WhatsApp, phone).
Requirements
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, POS system).
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Honest, responsible, and punctual.
- Able to work on rotation shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Work Hours
- 6 days per week, based on outlet schedule.
- Shift-based for cashier; office hours or hybrid for admin support.
