Job Scope / Position Summary

  • Ensure technology-related activities comply with relevant regulations, including notifications, approvals, advisory, and regulatory engagements
  • Oversee outsourcing activities, regulatory reporting, and compliance with internal and external outsourcing policies
  • Manage data privacy initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Oversee business integrity matters: whistleblowing, complaints, market conduct, conflicts of interest, and related party transactions
  • Handle internal allegations per Generali Group Code of Conduct: receive reports, manage investigations, coordinate with departments, and advise management
  • Support and advise on reporting and management of related party transactions

Main Responsibility

1. Embedding Compliance

  • Ensure compliance perspectives are integrated into:

  • Strategic initiatives

  • Critical projects
  • Product assessments
  • Promote a "Compliance by Design" approach across business activities.

2. Advisory and Reporting on Compliance Matters & Risks

  • Oversee compliance with applicable regulations and provide advisory support to:

  • Local executives

  • Business units
  • Staff

  • Provide regular reporting to the Board of Directors/Executive Committee as required by:

  • Group Compliance Management System Policy

  • Other governance obligations

  • Inform management of material compliance risks arising from:

  • Business initiatives

  • New laws and regulations

  • Advise on compliance matters related to:

  • Technology

  • Outsourcing
  • Data privacy
  • Market conduct
  • Related party transactions

  • Prepare and submit reports to Group/International/Regional Compliance on:

  • Material compliance risks

  • Key compliance indicators (e.g., inspections, fines, regulatory changes, allegations)
  • Support and advise on the reporting and management of related party transactions.

3. Internal Allegations Management

  • Receive and assess internal allegation reports.

  • Steer and manage investigations in coordination with:

  • Relevant departments

  • Regional/International/Group Compliance
  • Advise regional and local management on internal allegations as needed.

4. Business Integrity Oversight

  • Complaint management

  • Market conduct practices

  • Fair treatment of stakeholders
  • Conflict of interest issues
  • Related party transactions

5. Data Privacy Management

  • Conduct Data Impact Assessments for new projects.
  • Manage data leakage incidents and liaise with regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain Records of Processing Activities for personal identifiable information (PII).

6. Compliance Initiatives

  • Manage all systems and tools related to compliance functions.

7. Other Responsibilities

  • Perform additional compliance-related duties as identified from time to time
