JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assist in workplace inspection on safety of machinery, plant, equipment, substance, appliance or process.
  • Assist in accident investigation, near-misses, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational disease that happened at workplace.
  • Assist in collect, analyses and maintain statistics on any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning and occupational disease which have occurred at the workplace.
  • Assist in continuous improvement on policies and OSHMS on occ. health, safety and environment (HSE).
  • Assist in develop appropriate training plans with regards to health, safety and environment and conduct awareness training for employees.
  • Ensure employees and safety functional groups meet the basic and necessary training as required.
  • Assist in coordinate HSE programs and activities.
  • To liaise and coordinate subcontractor works on safety & health aspects, including PTW.
  • To assist in accident investigation and follow up on accident reporting and corrective action.
  • Assist in coordinate the activities and meeting of safety functional groups like safety committee, emergency response team, firefighting team, first aid team, chemical spillage team etc
  • Assists follow up with external vendors on safety & health assignments.
  • To assist the department to conduct in-house safety & health training and involvement in other Safety and Health Awareness programs, promotions, and activities.
  • To monitor and maintain off all safety signage and Safety & Health information board within the company's premise.
  • To manage first aid box inventory and assist the department to conduct Safety and Health incident investigation on accident, unsafe act, and unsafe condition.
  • Manage emergency equipment like fire extinguishers, emergency light, eye wash & shower, spill kits and others.
  • To manage stock, storage, issuance, usage and monitor on compliance of PPE among workers and contractors in the company premise.
  • Report of unsafe act and conditions at workplace. (UAUC reports).
  • Experience in Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP).
  • Assist fogging activity in both factory and worker hostel.
  • Send workers to clinic or hospital if needed.
  • Competency in bag filter (CePBFO) is an advantage.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time

JOB REQUIREMENT

Preferably a Diploma or Degree holder in Engineering, Chemical, Environment or Safety and Health.

At lease ONE YEAR + working experience in Manufacturing as SHE.

Ability to multi-tasking, priorities, manage time efficiently and WELL ORGANISED.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month (negotiable)
