About the role

AUSB Medical Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Product Specialist to join our team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As a Product Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales and marketing efforts for our cutting-edge medical technology products. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for professional development and growth within our dynamic organization.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide technical expertise and product demonstrations to potential clients, ensuring they understand the features and benefits of our products
  • Assist surgeons during operations in the Operating Theatre, ensuring seamless integration of our products into surgical procedures
  • Be available for on-call weekend support to ensure our customers receive timely assistance
  • Leverage your expertise in handling medical instrumentation to provide training and guidance to healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored sales strategies and support closing deals
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities
  • Assist with the development of marketing materials, including product brochures and presentations
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our products and services
  • Provide post-sales support to customers, addressing any technical questions or concerns
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and services by providing valuable feedback and insights

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as biomedical engineering, medical technology, or a related discipline
  • 1-2 years of experience as a product specialist or in a similar sales-support role within the medical technology industry
  • Encourage applications from highly skilled and motivated individuals
  • Good strength ability is needed as required to handle medical instruments & equipment's
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively explain technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service orientation, with the ability to provide innovative solutions to client needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and comfortable with using various sales
  • Passion for the healthcare industry and a genuine interest in staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical technology
  • Candidate must be willing to travel outstation
  • Possess own transport
